what is chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in plants. These magic drops provide the energy of the sun in a concentrated form to our bodies. It has so many incredible therapeutic properties that may benefit your body.
Spring is here, which means it's time to amp of your detoxing methods starting from the inside out! These magic drops were introduced to me years ago from a friend of mine who is all about cleaning out the body. I am a sucker for anything that makes my insides purr so I have been hooked ever since.
Chlorophyll is a rich forest green color, that yes, if you spill on your clothes might leave a stain. This magic potion in a jar is best known in the wellness world for it's high antioxidant power. Chlorophyll helps with hormonal balance, detoxification of the body (especially the liver), speeding up wound healing, improving digestive health and weight control, and promoting healthy skin. It also has healing effects on oxidation and inflammatory conditions. For me digestive health has always been very important since I have a very sensitive stomach and have dealt with stomach issues my entire life. Chlorophyll promotes healthy digestion by maintaining intestinal flora and helps with generating regular bowel movements. No one ever wants to talk about bathroom issues, but let's be honest ... it makes a huge difference in your overall gut health. I found that daily drops of chlorophyll helped me with discomfort and eased pains.
How to incorporate in your daily routine
You can purchase these magic drops at any local health food store. I get mine at Whole Foods. Depending on your reason for taking Chlorophyll the doses can vary, so just make sure to read the label. Also, if you are pregnant this is something you should incorporate in your daily routine only after you have your baby and are done breastfeeding. If you have any questions, ask your doctor.
The recommended daily intake is 1 tablespoon in a large glass of water daily. I personally like adding sliced lemon to this too. It is so refreshing and I know my insides are like, THANK YOU!
