5 Moves To Get You That NUFit Lean Body

Summer is here and with that means crop tops and jean shorts time! With these long summer days, there is no excuse not to get outside and crush a few of my #NUFit Lean Body moves! These moves, matched with healthy eating (see the post with Sophie Jaffe for great healthy eating tips) and stretching/meditation, will keep your body feeling strong and looking like a lean machine. Maintaining a lean body can also help you combat disease, create and support strong bones (which is a serious issue for all of us who want long active lives), and help you move with more control and agility. What's not to love! I want my NUFit girls to feel empowered and confident when playing any sport, attending a fitness class, and generally just living their life!

The workout consist of 5 Lean Body moves x 3 rounds

The Formula

You will complete each move for a total of 45 sec with no breaks. You will start with move #1 and go down the list. After completing all 5 moves, take a 1 minute break and get back into round 2. There are a total of 3 rounds.

         FLOATING LUNGES

If you are looking to lean out your legs this move it for you! It will get your heart rate pumping and your legs burning. I promise you your legs will look amazing in those jean shorts!

 

 

 

 
JUMPING JACKS

JUMPING JACKS             

Full-Body move here! This move just works! It's simple and gets the whole body involved. 

 
BURPEES

           BURPEES

No move burns more calories than the basic burpee! If you want to add an       extra level try adding a push-up to the burpee when your hands touch the           ground. That will activate your upper body on a new level. 

 
STAR JACKS LEAN BODY WORKOUT

          STAR JACKS                    

I love this move because it burns those outer glutes! No one thinks about that abduction element here which cannot be overlooked. If you are concerned about that outer thigh area this move hits that hard. 

 
JAB CROSS WITH NATALIE UHLING

                 JAB CROSS        

Pure upper body magic here. This move is great for creating intensity and focusing on strength and power. I love this move for young girls because it makes you feel like a badass!
