I hope you all have been enjoying My Road to Motherhood series! In my post last week about Simple Steps That Helped Me Get Pregnant I spoke very briefly about the importance of nutrition. I promised I would share my favorite fertility foods and also be sharing the reason why I started eating meat again (stay tuned for that next week). Today I am showing you guys how to make my ultimate fertility smoothie!
If you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant you need to add this nutrient-packed smoothie in to your morning routine. This is the perfect way to get in all of those leafy greens and healthy fats your body needs.
Ultimate Fertility Smoothie
This fertility smoothie is going to help you get pregnant. It is jam packed with antioxidants, protiens, super foods, and minerals that are going to help you throughout your entire pregnancy.
Course: Breakfast, Snack
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4 oz coconut water
- 1 scoop of Garden of Life Raw Protein & Greens
- 1 scoop of Perfect Food Super Green Formula
- 1 tsp of Organic Prebiotic Superfood Fiber Supplement
- 1 tsp Raw Organic Maca Powder
- 1/2 cup frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tsp bee pollen
Equipment needed
- Blender ( I use the Vitamix)
Instructions
Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth, I would recommend a high-speed blender like a Vitamix.
Sprinkle bee pollen on top of smoothie and enjoy!
