full bloom

lifestyle, beauty

Cherry blossom heaven! This time of year is one of my favorite parts about Spring. I am obsessed with cherry blossoms and taking pics under these magical trees. These trees also have major meaning, in 1912 Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo delivered 3,000 cherry blossom trees to city of Washington, DC as a gift. Today that annual National Cherry Blossom Festival honor the lasting friendship between the U.S and Japan. In Japan the cherry blossom represents the fragility and beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but it is also tragically short. So, remember to take time this weekend to enjoy the meaning of these truly magical trees.
